Our boot fitter is recommending these boots for my wife:
I'm concerned because she is an intermediate skier, and Head's web page states that these are suitable "for professional skiers" and skill level "top skiers".
The boots seem to fit her well and she doesn't seem to have a problem flexing them. The boot fitter says they have lots of intermediate skiers using this boot and they really aren't that stiff. Unfortunately they don't have a softer version of this boot in stock.
She demoed them and said that she liked the fact that they give her more control, but we skied some bumpier (not mogul) runs and it seemed like she was fatigued much earlier than usual. The boot fitter suggested that this might be due to the difference in stance from her old boots.
I'm wondering if I should encourage her to choose a softer version of this boot or should I trust the boot fitter's experience on this.
