Dynastar Sultan 85 or Rossignol Avenger 82 ti? HELP?

Hey all,  been searching for skis for quite a while now and I think I have narrowed it down to these two options.  As I do not have the option of demoing I need all that have any experience on either of these to help me out.  What I am looking for is an all mountain ski that will do mainly groomers here in the midwest but can tackle some softer snow in Colorado when we head out there if the opportunity presents itself.  I am an Advanced-intermediate skier that is mainly skiing with my kids right now.  Not real fast yet but it seems to get faster every year.  I am 6' 185 lbs.  I have the chance to purchase the sultan in the 178 length or the Avenger in the 177 length.  The Sultan is flat and the Avenger has the rail system.

 

Which one do you suggest?

I have the Sultan, and are very, very happy with them.

 

Demo'd a number of other skis.  Not sure if your other choice was one of them.

 

There are a few threads on here on the sultan, do a search for more details.

Sultan 85  178cm is very nice and it feels at home after a few initial turns.  I have Legend 8000  178cm before so that might help.

I will sell the 8000 soon.

I just got the Sultan 85's this year 178cm.  I'm 5'8" 155lbs.  I was able to test them in a few inches of fresh pow and groomed packed powder (from night before).  In both cases, I loved them.  They can carve a lot better than I would expect from a 85mm waist ski.  Also just did a great job of blasting through crud.  Hopefully get to test them in some deeper snow when I go out west.

It is puking snow today!  Can't wait to get after it on my Dynastar 6th Sense Slicer 115's!
