Bending the knees does not have to put a skier in the back seat.




No, BWPA is right. Bending the knees is what puts people in the back seat. If he's skiing in the back seat and bends his knees more, he is not going to move his hips forward over his feet.

It's not ski choice that is your issue. You can ski anything with any ski with good technique. That being said, get a good pow-ski that's not too floppy and learn to really ski it. Me 6' 225#. I like the old non-rockered Katana 190, but, most pow days I take out my old Bridge 185, do just fine on an ac50, 177 too.
