absolutely not, no connection to my banter, best thoughts for their skiing and healing. I'm in the brain healing group myself, though not as tough as most people who have been through it.
my comments are strictly related to experienced skiers who want to polish their ancient and venerable skill of skating. just busting their chops for blowing up what is a minor aspect of our sport for some skiers (myself). But as people have mentioned here: this is the place to blow up minutiae.
Skiing is one of the hardest sports; yet so many participants do not accept the physical demands and do not prepare adequately for them. If you're not a natural, prepare to learn what you can't do, sure.
Wounded Warriors are the most inspiring thing I've heard of with regard to skiing. Never give up on what you want to do, especially if it will make you enjoy your life, again. Squaw has free passes for all soldiers, by the way. Come on guys, your fatigues work well out here.
