Got a new pair of boots for the season and this time it seems like it is going to work out (unlike last season). I would like to put a mild to moderate heel lift in that will not effect the integrity of the boot. The place I purchased the boot gave me a heel insert that was made of a soft pourous material...My old boots I used I had a hard cardboard material for the heel lift. I am thinking the soft material would have some drawbacks in performance? Also as far as placement I kinda forget in the system it was. Do I place the heel left inside the liner or outside the liner. I think I remember on my last ones it was placed outside the liner. Maybe the pourous material will compact pretty quickly and its a non issue. Also I feel bad going to better ski shop to buy lifts since I didnt get them there.
hope yall are already having a kick ass season
