K2 80 Rictor, Blizzard 76 Magnum IQ or Fisher 80 motive: Snowboader going back to skiis

Hi,

I'm 32 now and bored of snowboarding. Gone are my days in the park and now I want to get back to skiing. I was an intermediate skiier in my youth and am an advanced snowboarder. I learned to ski well before shape skiis made their first appearance. I live in Vancouver so am skiing mostly the west coast.

Anyways, want an kick ass yet forgiving all mountain ski as I expect to keep these skis for years and hope to improve fairly quickly. Plan to ski mostly groomers but some off trail and steep runs too.Do any of the skiis listed below stand out as a good fit? And should I stay under a certain width? 80mm?

K2 Rictor 80mm

Fischer Motive 80mm

Blizzard Magnum IQ 76mm

Appreciate any feedback.

Also any boot reccomedations would be very helpful also. Maybe a 100 flex?

Thanks very much!

I say get the Rictors.  They are an expert ski, but are forgiving enough to not completely kick you around.  You'll like the rocker in the tip, as turns will be easier, and since you ski in the west, the rocker won't hurt you too much on the groomers.  I think it's a great ski that will push you, but by doing so will make you better.  K2 have always been known for making fun, not too serious skis.  It will also tackle a little pow too.
