Junior Skis for smaller Adult?

Hey - I'm a 5'8 gal, 135 lbs. Wondering if junior skis are an option for me - could I get better skis for less? I used to ski quite a bit, fairly aggressively, but I'm 40 now and haven't been on the slopes for probably 10 years, so I'll be slower...

From what I've read and experienced with my two kids, 100-115 Lbs is the cut off for junior skis. While many look just like adult versions of the same ski, the adult versions are built with better materials (that's why they cost more).

My daughter is a very good, but not particularly aggressive skier, and outgrew junior skis when she hit 100 Lbs. Every adult ski she demoed was a vast improvement over her old junior skis.

Thanks! I'll spend the extra money!

given your shift in focus from junior skis to women skis or adult skis, if you tell us where you ski and what you like to ski we could now make a relevant suggestion.

With your specifics, I think a good lady ski that suits you would be a better bet than any junior ski, except maybe a jr race stock if that's what you're looking for.
