Womens Ski Jumping - The journey continues

Lots of threads over the past 4 years about the continued exclusion of women ski jumpers from the Olympics. Their journey continues and I'm excited to see (actually to wait for ) the new movie being made about them. Woohoo! By none other than the guy who wrote The Edge Of Never,and finally the movie, Bill Kerig.

Like was done for The Edge Of Never, there is a website to watch the progress and trailers as the film is being made. Readytoflyfilm.com. Thought I'd share this cool update with those who've participated or followed the threads over the years.

You think?

A documentary about the fledgling sport of Women's Ski Jumping?

W's Ski Jumping = also known as 'Ski Flying', a sport in it's infancy

Chick = baby bird

W's Ski Jumpers =/= baby birds

A documentary about W's Ski Jumping = 'Chick Flick'

See where I went with that? Guess I should have used a smiley face... which one indicates "possible mild humor if you think about it for an extra second or two"?

Aw " Wit"room, I always love reading your humor & usually get. In this case my LOL moment wasn't broad enough to include the jump from gender to age let alone species crossovers. Thanks for elevating the typical def to
a new level. I'll never be able to hear the term chick flick again without thinking of you.

Whiteroom, the more I think and grin about your full definition of this new chick flick, someone has to tell SkiWrite how much of a chick flick he's making. IIRC he's orig from the east,have you two crossed paths in the distant past?

Chick flick? Guess I'm getting in touch with my feminine side.

However, I'd challenge anyone who thinks that these ski jumpers are fragile little birds to try to keep up with one of them, say Lindsey Van, on the hill, much less on the ski jump.
