I am 160lb, 174cm or 5 9" ish and would you recommend Atomic 9 18 Beta Carv Skis 158cm?

Also, not taking into account my height weight, would you recoomend these skis overall?

i'm an intermediate skier.

No, this is a thoroughly outdated ski, designed 10 years ago.

Those are old and may also have a recalled binding on them.

A fine ski in their time. Bindings not so much. Find something else.

It also depends on how much money they are, how much skiing you will be doing and the condition of the skis/bindings and also if you are on a strict budget. If they are free and the bindings are good (you would want to have them tested) then take them. If they're new then I wouldn't go over $75-100 range, less if they're used. It was a decent ski so if you are only going to ski a few times and don't want to spend that much..

I picked up a pair of those with  Salomon bindings for $27 a few years ago.  They were my first shaped ski, I wore them out.  The pair I found were nearly new, so I picked them up for old times sake.

I used them some last year and while they are not the most exciting thing I ever used, they still aren't bad.  Of course, they are worth less than that now.....
