I received Salomon Tempest twin tip skis and marker bindings.  Just had them mounted but, i am back to work already so, i need to find some time to try them out.

DH and I did reserve a cabin in the Porcupine Mountains for a week of skiing in Feb.--Can't wait!!!

I picked myself up some 08 model Fischer addict pros, 181 with head mojo 15 bindings.

More importantly, Hestra Heli 3-finger gloves.  So I got that going for me, which is nice...

I was actually taking my ladyfriend there sometime.  Their runs are the longest in michigan, and possibly some of the best views.  I think only Bohemia and maybe Marquette Mountain beat the Porkies for views.

I went skiing christmas day in the poconos if you even consider that skiing. I got there at 8 am to find out they did not open til 12!. I then came back at around 11 to wait in a 45 minute line to get a lift ticket.

On my second run i got a little air coming over a hill and hit a couple of frozen fake snow boulders, I ejected out the front of my skis and blasted the ground face first. I cut my nose up pretty nice and rung my bell pretty good. It did not stop me though I continued to ski bleeding from the face while everyone gave me dirty looks.

I still had a great time regardless of these minor set backs, I am a firm beleiver that it is impossible to have a bad time skiing.

When people ask me what I got for Christmas I tell them a mild concussion.

No but I think I'm coming back after my Jackson Hole trip next week.  Probably doing Silver at least on the 16th.
