I was reading Bob Barnes' entry on "Anticipation" in the Complete Encyclopedia of Skiing, and I would really like the lower body-type of anticipation amplified.

Would a gross exaggeration of tip lead early in the turn, then a pulling back mid-turn be a subset of "anticipation with the lower body"?

Further, if these 1-2 movements are performed at some slight edge engagement, what is the relationship of the required core strength and the ski flex?

Is this a tactic that represents another advantage of "medium", frex using a ski with nothing but stiff behavior within its envelope would lock out using these moves?
