Christmas Gift Time - Magazine?

I know that all of you are just waiting to get me something for Christmas. I will make it easy on all of you. Instead of that pair of FX94 in 186 cm, how about a bit of advice instead.

 

While I know that no ski magazine can ever replace the depth of knowledge in this forum, I need to get couple of things for my cousin's 15 year old daughter who has started ski racing in high school. I was thinking that maybe one of the things that I could get her, besides coming out to visit me in the PNW skiing is a subscription to a ski magazine which might have some good all around articles on skiing techniques and/or places to ski, etc. etc.  I don't really know how much she is into non-racing skiing, but she is learning, from her Dad how to wax her brand new skis.

 

Any ideas, suggestions, etc. etc.

WOW!! Not a single response. I thought I might have received at least one recommendation or a warning to stay away from another. I would have at least thought that this would have garnered a snide remark or two.

The magazines are going under fast. That said, there are two that you don't really see on the newsstand and that would make them great XMas presents in my mind.

 

Ski Journal - like a giant surf magazine about skiing

 

Ski Racing - it's like Velonews for skiing
