Trying to find a Racing Helmet

Thread Starter

I need something that has solid covering over the ears... my head shape is not round, I can't spin my baseball cap 360 degrees... current helmet is a Smith Premise and it fits good with the adjustment in the back.

Briko, Uvex and Carrera brands are available online so I'm looking for a little feedback on how they might fit me. Thanks

I am so so like you/shapewise/ and I have Uvex race helmet.. It fits me extremely well, but it's a snug , tight fit... But that is how race/ or any other helmet/ should fit, IMO.

Thanks Andy, as far as fit goes... I measure at 58.7 cm... the Uvex Wing which I like, their medium fits 57-58 cm and large 59-60 cm... think the medium would be too snug, will it pack out some?

I have a uvex, it fits well but don't expect it too look pretty for too long. Mine got beat up while skiing gates and now only say U e on one side and Vex on the other.

You could also check out Poc and Shred. Sorry can't help much with the sizing aspect.

I measure at like 58.5mm and mine is Large....

Pretty snug.. I have  to pull it down some more to fit nice over my ears.....

I would say Large   for you.. Medium is too small... They tend to run a little smaller.

I've got a very oval shaped head and recently picked up an XL Giro Sestriere

Not fancy at all, but couldn't beat the price and it fits very well.
