FS: 2011 Kastle MX98 178 / Griffon

Yep...2011 MX98's one of THE hottest skis out there. I bought these on a whim while waiting for my MX88's to arrive. After skiing them for a couple of hours..3 or so..I found while they are a bit bigger and softer than the MX88, there was not too much difference and least not enough difference to warrant both skis. The 98 is 60/40 soft snow biased where the Mx88 is 60/40 hard snow. I have them mounted for a 300mm boot so the range is from 295 to about 308mm with new Griffons.

$990 shipped.

These ARE sold but Start Haus has one pair of 188's still in the wrapper available $990 with free shipping.

Pssst........ So what are you thinking of getting for yourself from next years line up?

990 for a 98 mm ski. I probably wouldn't take it of piste in fear of wasting 1k on a rock. So for me the width would be useless.

I'll stay with my tried and true MX88 and will test out one of the wider BMX's for a powder ski.

For you, yes for others no. As usual with any ski purchase, YMMV.

Who is it the BMX targets? (bindings will cover most of that huge hip-hop graphic........What were they thinking? Wear your bling Yo! )

I think I misunderstood it as being a trim only need apply, or female only ski line...............

Seems like they are getting their lines to close together.........Whaaaa.............Confusion is setting in.............Must get............. Help!
