My current boots are some very nice Dalbellos which were bought five or so years ago when I had attained my adult growth. However, though my foot and ankle size hasn't changed, my calves have become more muscular and thus girthy (and I have small feet for my height in any case). The top buckle does not quite have a large enough setting. Are there any boot brands/styles you would recommend?
I have very narrow feet (women's 7 dress shoe, 8 sneaker).
Also, is there any way my current boot could be modified on the top buckle to give me a tiny bit more room? They still fit perfectly otherwise, and I really like them, and I only need 1/8-1/4 inch more room on the one buckle. I can still fasten that buckle at the loosest setting, but it puts my feet to sleep within a run, and I can't ski if I can't feel the snow.
