I picked up a pair of Salomon boots for my 10 year old son. They are used, but barely. I have no idea what model they are. Just red, with silver "vario" buckles in a size 22. They have 4 buckles plus a booster strap. They were advertised as kid's boots, but I'm not too sure.
At 80 lbs, he can barely flex them. I can barely flex them by hand. He's just a recreational skier, been skiing since 3. Gets maybe 10-12 days per season.
Ia there a way too soften these? Or, should I not care too much. They are definitely stiffer than last year's Rossis, but he is both taller and heavier.
