I'm currently looking to buy my first pair of skis. I'm looking for something versatile that can perform well on groomed runs, bumps, and also some deeper off-piste snow.
I'm 140 lbs, 5'9", 25 years old and I ski in the Canadian Rockies. I'd describe myself as an intermediate/advanced skier (not expert) who finds many black runs fun but challenging (some are above my skill level). With the purchase of my skis I'm looking to ski a lot more than I have been and also get serious about improving my skills. Whatever skis I choose, I'd like to ski well in them today but also I need my skis to hold up years from now when I'm better.
I've been considering these skis
K2 AMP Rictor
Dynastar Legend Sultan 80
Head Peak 78
Does anyone have any comments on these skis? Does anyone have any other suggestions they'd like to add?
