Depends on what you are looking for. Hard to go wrong with most of the CMH lodges, some offer more tree skiing, some glacier/alpine terrain. Mica Heli is highly regarded, have never heard anything bad about them, plush lodge and cat back-up for weather days. I've also heard good things about Great Canadian for first-timers from a few people. There are also day operators, but a week long trip will be a better experience if you can afford it.
Only time I've ever gone, was with Whistler Heli Skiing right out of Whistler. It was in 2000, and only cost $360/day for 3 runs and $60 for each additional run. You could sign up with different groups depending on ability. I was with my Dad so we went with "intermediate" and stayed mostly on wide open bowls and a gladed run at the end of the day. I'm guessing times and costs have changed.
For $420 it was worth it. I would like to try it again with a more advanced group though. We had some Brits in our group that thought they were Intermediate skiers, but they didn't have the slightest idea how to ski powder. It hindered the group a little bit. At the cost of a week long trip that you may only ski once, or however expensive a day trip is if they still exist, I don't know if I'd like it as much. It probably is something you should do once if for nothing else, just to say you went Heli-Skiing.
