Can anyone make comment on the "real" snow conditions in Utah at the moment? I'm in Australia and have skied Colorado for the last three seasons (12 weeks total on snow time) and have decided to give Utah a go this year and are a little nervous on how the season is shaping up!
I know last year at Snowmass they said they had a 48" base and yet you were skiing through dirt and grass in some spots, so I know I can't go on base depths really, and the cams all look good but you only need 3" of snow to make everything look white.
So any realtime reports and suggestions on which resorts to visit and why would be really apprecaited.
I am 39 y/o male and a solid lev. 8/9 skier.
