Binding for Volkl Attiva Aurora skis

Hello All,

I just purchaced a new pair of last winters Volkl Attiva Aurora skis, however they did not come with bindings. I know that this ski does not take any old binding and that it requires one made for it. I am just unsure of how to find the right one. I am an aggressive Northern East Coast skier who likes some off piest action and makes trips to CA and CH for my powder fix. Any suggestions?

you pretty much get one choice - marker wide-ride 12 din's i believe...

you can either talk to a local shop who can order some, or scour the interwebz for a set...

These skis were sold as a "system" ski sold together as a package. The ski wasn't offered as just a ski. I have to ask where did you buy them? I don't think any reputable shop would sell them even on line without the bindings. If they were bought from an individual I would have to ask where he got them just as I am sure any shop you take these to will ask the same before offering to order the bindings for them.

I'm just asking....

Good luck,

Very good question however a VERY long story...

Short version, best friend bought some skis from a reputable place in Boston area....the place charged him twice....he called and called and called not only to pick up skis after boots and binding were set but to tell them he was charged twice .... no answer...tried to cancel the charge on his credit card with no luck. ....swings buy shop to see what's up......Shop is dark and empty with a note saying they went bankrupt.... 1 month later friend gets a call from the manager saying he has his skis and he snuck them out of the store before the bank seized them. My friend Doug went to pick them up and the guy felt really bad and gave him these skis free.... Annnd well he is not a woman and the skis are to short for him so he gave them to me. SO that is the story to my "binding-less" skis.....and about two weeks ago Doug actually got all of the money(both charges) refunded to his credit card!

but non-the-less I still need bindings :(

Sounds to me that they are stolen skis, from the bankrupt shop. The assests of the shop belonged to their creditors not to the guy who handed them to your friend out the back door, no matter what his good intentions were.

You had better come up with a better story before taking these to a shop and asking them to order the bindings for you otherwise you might get to have a nice conversation with the man in blue.

Good luck,

Rick G
