Hestra Heli vs. XCR Gloves - Page 2

Was going to get the XCR, but seems like they do not carry those any longer.  Did the GTX replace the XCR (are they comparable)?  Main reason I wanted the XCR is water proofness.  Having said that seems like the Heli is fairly waterproof (and comes in all black, HELO!)?

Got some Free the Powder gloves and they had a lot of insulation on the cuff. I passed them into someone else.

I didn't like the Heli Ergos. Too tight in the fingers.

I'm keeping my 10 year old Helis. Shells and palm/fingers are still good. Just ordering new liners.

Why not go with 3 finger Hestras, they'll be warmer and provide all the benefits of a fingered glove. Something like:

I have Hestra 3-finger mittens, although not the XCR ones. I've got the three-finger Helis, plenty warm and they stay dry. All of my other outerwear (shell and pants) are Gore-tex:
