I have a question about using boots with a junior sole (size 21.5) in an adult binding.
The standard in our area for junior race skis has been the Marker M10 EPS for the marker plates on Volkl and Blizzard jr Race skis. Boot size 22.5 and up have the adult standard sole plate, but boots 21.5 and under use the junior sole dimension, which is both thinner and narrower.
It's something that has been done here for years, but I'm not sure they were designed to work together. The tech manual says to use the Marker M7 EPS, but a 7 DIN binding isn't enough for some of these kids. Marker technical support said to call Technica. Technica said it is up to the biding manufacturer. Any thoughs?
