Going to do this-looking for fellow Bears that are interested in making the trip a Small Gathering.
1st Week of January. Possibly start on Monday or Tuesday. Here's possible/probably route etc. (flexible):
Day 1. To Chewela, ski 49 Degrees North, spend night in Chewelahor drive to Rossland BC
Day 2. Ski Red in Rossland, after skiing drive to Nelson/Ymir for night
Day 3. Ski Whitewater OR
Phone Valhalla Powder Cats, Wildhorse Cats, or Big Red Cats (decision on Big Red would be easier drive wise to make
before leaving Rossland.
Valhalla standbye status $199 NOTE. The reason I chose this week is that this is the slowest week of
Wildhorse standbye seat $212 the season for the cat operations. This increasing chances of an
empty seat or two.
Big Red Cats $249
Day 4. those that went Cat Skiing may want to ski Whitewater or whatever
After day 4 is up to Bears; Schweitzer on way south etc.
I can seat 3 comfortably in my truck and 4 with no problem. May have my ski bud Van with me. Snow; Northern Idaho now is 1 inch short of the total snow we had all last year and So. BC is looking good too. Heading toward a real good year. Have been skiing 5 days so far and 4 were in boot deep powder.
ONE proviso, I get the lst Standbye seat.
Anyway, input anyone who is interested. I am going.
