...Solitude (Utah) ski patrol!

Today we went skiing at -2F (brr) and met up with our next door neighbor and her friend.  On our first run, the friend dipped off the groomer into the powder for some fun and, because it was so deep, his skis stopped at a halt, released, and he went airborne down the fall line landing hard on his head and rolling down the run at least 25 feet before coming to a stop.  He was screaming in pain. Ski patrol arrived quickly and I stayed to assist and saw them in their full professional and experienced glory.  We followed patrol and the rescue sled to the clinic and to see him taken to SLC by ambulance.  I'm happy to report he's just really bruised up but nothing broken.

G-d bless all of you patrollers.  You're incredible.  Thank you!
