Just incredible.  Not many people are around.  Walk on Trams.  Pow everywhere.  Fly here tomorrow!

Great to hear. Couldn't happen to nicer folk. Well, maybe if I were there.....

I'm booked for January ... haven't been in 4 or 5 years... too long ... very excited. Don't use up all the snow. ;-)

They'll be plenty.  But bring your Game.  Big lines are filling in daily.

In just a few weeks fun runs like Tower Three and the Alta Chutes- runs that may intimidate an intermediate skiers- will be looking good for those looking to give them a try.

They're looking good right now!  Mandatory staff training is pretty fun when you get paid to ski powder all day!!

That was a bit part, huh?.  She pops in around :18 in the blue girl's Portillo Jacket^^^also seen above. Liberty and I a blast with the crew.  She spent the whole day with them, while I was just there for a few hours.  They gave her (and me) a very generous gear stipend.  PROPS to Marmot!

OK, Ok, ok...

Hi SIJ. Would dearly love to spend some time at JH again this season, and skiing with you and the family, (also getting to see Bear buddies TPJ, Bob Peters, and day tripping to Targhee for turns with Harkin Banks,) just makes the longing all the greater.

Not sure if it's in the cards though. Already got X-mas plans with my son to head back to Vail, then I get to visit Aspen/Snowmass for my first ever ESA. (I won the ESA essay contest, and tuition was the way cool prize.)

Mid-winter and spring plans are still fuzzy. Baz Jr. is in his senior year in high school, and he's deeply enmeshed in the college application tango. Time and $ that we would use for ski trips will most probably be spent on campus visits to schools where he's earned acceptance. (Even his in-state choices require lodging and some travel. He's already been accepted at Tulane, and they've offered some substantial scholarship funds, so New Orleans is on our dance card. I'll be sure to go there hungry.)

Been woolgathering and day-dreaming a bit with Fireball and Finndog. If they twist my arm hard enough and I can find reasonable air-fare, they might just manage to get me out your way. I'll be certain to post a heads-up here on the forums to ensure that Blaze and Liberty have sufficient time to find some interesting lines on which to play "frighten the tourist." BTW, when Segbrown makes it out in January; she's much harder to scare than I am, so the kids will have to work a little harder.

Bazzer:  Couple of points... what about the airfare deals? I know know a lot about it, but check out the 4th Flies Free ski deal.

Give our best to Baz Jr. and we wish him well in the college application process.  Remembering how nerve racking it was... yikes!

I've got the week of March 19-26th locked in to make my annual visit.    Can't wait!

I'll do my best to twist Bazzer's arm into coming along.    I think Kawo, Finndog and my buddy from high school will be joining.
