So here's some quick background. As I mentioned in a previous post, I was fitted by a good shop into a 25.5 Tecnica Dragon 100. The fit was great, but the flex was too soft. The employee gave me a Dragon 110 to put on in a 26, just to feel the flex. The flex was perfect, but the fit was obviously too big. He mentioned trying to get a good deal online for last years Dragon 110 in a 25.5. I found an Agent 110 instead for a great price and purchased it.
When it arrives, what should I do next? I already have a Surefoot orthodic from my old boots. I was thinking about taking them to the shop and having them do the cuff adjustment and heat-mold the liners, etc... should I be having them do anything else with these new boots? I purchase a lot of stuff from this shop and am a pretty loyal customer (I would have purchased boots from them if the had my size)... what should I expect to pay for them to setup my new boot considering I didn't get it from them?
Could someone provide me a quick punch-list of "setup" items for a new pair of boots and what a fair price estimate would be? Thanks.
