Sizing Differences Within the Same Shell (Scarpa)

So from what I can gather Scarpas shell sizing runs differently from most brands. Whereas most boots would be the same shell for a 25.0 and a 25.5 mondo, Scarpas are the same shell for a 25.5 and a 26.0. Is that right? If so, what are the differences between the two sizes that share the same shell? Is it just the boot board? The liner? Some combination thereof, or something I haven't even thought of?? Inquiring minds with pending purchases want to know!!!

Some brands change shells on 'whole' sizes, and some on 'half' sizes.

The difference between the half sizes that use the same shell is usually just a thicker/thinner liner.  Someone in the bootfitting forum could possibly give a more authoritative answer.
