Hi there, looking for a expert opinion on the technology in the Atomic Hawx boot (I am a female but I assume its the same in mens too).
I must admit I love the way they felt on my feet but I'm concerned that the gill like slashes in the plastic are just a gimmick and maybe take away from performance.
Also the boot was making a lot of noise when flexed!!! That also worried me...
Does anybody have an opinion?

The i-Flex zone at the front of the boot works like an additional joint on the Hawx. It promotes natural forefoot flexibility, improves balance on the ski, provides for precision control and even makes walking easier. The ASY Sport T2 liner can be individually adjusted in the ankle and forefoot zones. Its insole is prewired for Thermic, the boot heating system which keeps the feet warm at all times. The AFS boot cuff can be adjusted to a lower base of the calf in one easy motion.
