2010 K2 Hellbent 189 w/ Marker Griffon Schizo

I have a pair of 2010 K2 Hellbent in 189 with Marker Griffon Schizo bindings.  They have 1 day of use on them, a half day in Breckenridge last year and a few runs on the local hill to get a feel for them.  They are like new and I will post pictures tonight.  $550 plus shipping.

I never used a Schizo do you have to redrill for different boot sizes? If so what boot length are you?

Where are they mounted?

They are set up for a 315mm boot sole but I am pretty sure that can be set for different sizes without drilling any new holes.

The schizo binding is moveable on the ski.

Its not identical to this year but the Schizo binding setup is the same.

cstreu- he's asking where on the ski were they mounted? So its going to be like -3 back or something like that. They do move +/- 3cms I think,http://shop.starthaus.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=4&idproduct=1299#details

They were mounted with the insert that came in the ski and I am pretty sure there is only one set of inserts.

K2 SchizoFrantic Inserts
The K2 SchizoFrantic inserts allow for super fast mounting of the new K2/Maker Griffon SchizoFrantic binding system without the need for any drilling. The Schizo binding itself uses the tested and proven Triple Pivot Elite toe and Inter Pivot Heel with an ultra lightweight, low stand height track and cable system that enable you to mount once and adjust a full 6 cm along the ski. The insert patterns allow you to ski at the ‘core center’ mark for the optimal park and switch performance, or all the way back at a more traditional mounting location for powder of softer snow conditions. The increased surface area of the insert rings provides twice the pullout strength of standard binding screws

so if its center, you can go back 3. check the side of the ski on the markings to see if you can confirm this. My guess is they didn't mount center. hard to imagine anyone going forward of center even with the schizo's. More than likely the mount would be at or about -3.

my understanding is that with binding all the way back its a tradtional mounting position and all the way forward is core center.  I will try to verify that tonight.

Schitzo has 6cm of adjustment. The inserts are for Schitzo bindings, so they are set up at the manufacturer's suggested point.

The bindings are remountable without drilling any new holes.  There were no marks on the side walls to give location on the ski but the picture shows the binding in its furthest back position on one ski and furthest forward on the other,

THere's the answer... thanks. that should provide good ability to position where the skier wants them.  Ski's are minty!

damn, I would have jumped on these over the summer but I had to get my own.  Core center on these skis is +7.5 ( these K2's have the measurements on their sidewalls).  By the visual cues of his schizo mount, they look pretty close to core center.

Core center, not true center is what see correct? Thanks

Moving the bindings all the way forward puts them in pretty much the center of the ski.  Moving them all the way back puts them 6 cm behind that point.
