My son's race team are at Copper Mountain for a 2-week pre-season race camp. Snow condition in the past week are awesome, but maybe not so much for race training: 14" - 24hrs, 22" - 48hrs, 31" this week, 74" so far this season!

It's good to be a kid....

lol, I was laughing at/with the racer kids at Loveland yesterday, lots of backseat skiing on short skis. They were having a blast, I'm not making fun (I had to ride the tails of my big skis at times, too, to make it through some of the deeper and flatter sections), but you're right, looked like they were mostly free skiing. One of the older girls apparently demo'd a pair of skis from the free Outdoor Divas demo day -- all morning long. She's no dummy. (Sort of rude, but no dummy.)

Sounds like Colorado is gettin' the goods to make up for a marginal snow year last season.
