Is there anyone out there with first hand experience testing the Dynastar Speed Course Ti and the Rossi Strato 80 Ti or 70Ti (similar to CX80 and CX70)?
I'm a Dynastar guy who has been on Dynastars for the past 20 years (was a mountain rep for Dynastar for 12 years). I'm currently on the Speed Course 68. I love them, but they are worn out and getting softer after a couple of years. I like everything I read about the dimensions and characteristics of the Rossi Ti, but having been on Dynastars for so long, I'm a little bit cautious about switching brands.
I ski the mid Atlantic almost exclusively (sucks to be me). 27 year level 3 instructor. Aggressively fast and love bumps (granted, all of these skis are way stiff for the bumps, but I'll live with that).
Any feedback about the Rossi's? I think I'm most nervous because the last pair of Rossis that I demoed felt like crap. Like they were heavy, slow and wanted to fold up under me when I was going fast on a high edge. But that was more than 5 years ago.
