If the resorts open before the 8th of December when I fly out to my new job I want to ski! I am so scared of being out of shape and showing up ready to go on the 9th of December, LOL.
I ran today, I never run. I'm going to be miserable all winter missing Old Boot but I'll be sure and post lots of pictures of the skiing and snow and runs from my mountain to keep you all stoked, in my sadness. *grins*
Here's the Sugar Thanks Giving deal.
"November 25-28, 2010
Thanksgiving Turkey Treat
Plan to spend your Thanksgiving at Sugar this year. For one low price,
you can ski/ride any one session each of the four days of the Thanksgiving
weekend, November 25-28, 2010 for just $110. Offer expires Monday,
November 22, 2010 at 4 pm. If you purchase before Oct. 1, 2010 at
4 pm you pay only $90. Less than $23 a day! If the ski resort is not open
because of weather, you can ski/ride any four (4) non-holiday weekdays
throughout the year."
Thinking about that. You really win if the snow doesn't fly and you can use it any other 4 weekdays, if you can ski week days. I really want to get up there before I fly out to Alberta and get the skis working under me, so if it opens you can count me in before the 9th.
