And more to the point, if I may, make sure your loved ones know which skis you want to go in the "box" with you.

If you're lucky, the ones you were riding.

... and not the ones the guy who hit you was riding.

assume 9.90 for shipping, and voila 95 for 2 pairs

There you have it, two pairs of skis for under $95, but I entirely suck at not buying skis.

Apparently, not buying skis isn't the only thing you suck at -- you also suck at math.

I share the former failing, but not the latter.

I had a friend from bicycle racing. He worked in a bike shop. He was inspired to write a monthly column in a bicycle racing mag about his experiences with people he encountered. Perhaps: "From the Start Haus: Encounters with the Lunatic Fringe (you can't own too many pairs of skis)"

I have this same problem, but I also purged the collection.  There is nothing in my quiver that I don't want at this point.  I have a major problem with technical clothing, especially Spyder and Arcteryx. I attribute this always wanting a Spyder jacket (before they were made in China and before I could afford it). I search out the technical jackets, I have 8 right now, and I have to buy them. My favortite jacket is a Spyder Apogee, that they dont make anymore. I started buying vintage sweaters too- who knows why. My girlfriend just shakes her head when the UPS man arrives. I am happy to know I am among a larger group.

My fiance wife recognized my problem, my b-day gift was North Face Denali jacket so I stay warm, I am assuming my christmass gift will be the shall jackte to go on the top of it.
