Anyone here with some 03-04 Solomon Scream10Pilots?

My best friend has a pair of these bad boys he hasn't skied on in a while, and there is some sort of goo coming out of the stabilizer attachment points on the top of the ski.  It looks like a urethane glue (sorta like the stuff from Sika that you would use to install a windshield)  I'm wondering if it's some sort of cold weather formula, that if it sits in the heat too long in the upright position, it's bound to get gummy.

Anyone else that has these skis notice that?

He used to be an avid skier, then got married, and that went to poop, so I'm not sure if he's down to pickup a new pair of something..  depends on his involvement.

Thanks!

I've got some from about that time period, maybe a year older? 3rd from right:

I've  noticed s very small amount of gooey stuff where the prolink pipe goes in to the tube.  I never really thought anything bout it.  I've always thought those things are mostly cosmetic anyway.  What is a legitimate concern  to me involves the toe pieces.  The width adjustment screws don't stay tight. and rattle loose after a few months of skiing.  I always check that before using them and it seems that every few days they need tightening.  I know some folks that have squirted crazy glue and other thread locking substances in to those toe piece adjustment threads in attempts to keep them from rattling loose again.

Prompted by the curiosity of another Bear (who shall remain temporarily nameless), I have been taking the Prolink arms /off/.

Those are the skis, exactly.  Here are a few pictures of the issue.   On of the the prolink arms came off on one ski, and I was able to reattach it with some high quality epoxy.

About the toe binding problems, my dad's scream 8 pilots have had that exact same issue (the wings loosening), and has to carry the tool around whenever he skis.  I'm now starting to believe that the problem is more universal than we thought.
