Smith helmets with Skull Candy Bluetooth Headphones? Help Please

Going to buy a helmet this season, I listen to plenty of music and take a lot of calls on the slopes. Getting the bluetooth headphones makes the most sense.

I have settled with Smith helmets, love their designs.

My question is about the compatibility of Skull Candy Bluetooth headphones

The two helmets I like are the hustle http://www.smithoptics.com/products/#/Snow+Helmets/Adult+Helmets/Hustle/view/

and the vantage

the vantage is made with "snap in ear flaps", and the hustle is made with "bombshell ear flaps".

What is the difference between the two, are the snap in ear flaps totally secure?

I have a Smith Hustle with no audio. I find it to be too huge looking and wish I'd gone with a Variant (last year) or would go Vantage (this year - since there are way too many Variants around these days). That being said, the ear flaps do pop in and out pretty easily; much easier than the Variants I've seen, for whatever that's worth.

The style and features can be great, but if the helmet doesn't fit your head properly, it's pretty useless.

Different helmets (sometimes even different models by the same manufacturer) fit some head shapes better than others; there's no way to really know what works for you without going into a store and trying a few on.

When you do go shopping, bring your goggles to see how they interface with your helmet of choice; you might end up  replacing them while you're at it. Since style seems to be a big priority, you probably want to avoid the dreaded "gaper gap".

They both have snap-ins, just in different places.  The Bluetooth ear-pads tend to stick out a bit.

Smiths size & shape differently between models, so make sure you try one on somewhere.......

(Personally I think helmet/phone integration should be banned! )

AFAIK - Yes

The holt-style "bomshell" slide in to the helmet (plastic-tab), then snap onto the ear-straps.

The "snap-on" snap diectly onto the helmet.

Go try one on and you will see what I mean.

I could, but there aren;'t many ski stores in the NJ area haha.

Fair enough..... but be aware that the Holt and Variant both fit differently and size differently.

The Hustle seems to be based on the Holt with Variant styling, and vice-versa for the Vantage......
