Would appreciate suggestions for Zipfit for my Dobermans. I used these boots all last season with a pair of old Doberman leather race liners that I have used in various shells for the past five years. Wonderful boots for me. Fit and work much better than the Krypton Pros with Intuition Power Wrap I was in, quite unsuccessfully. Dobermans with leather race liner have a great fit but are pretty cold (snow blows through them) and they are certainly packed out after so many years.
I am a 9.5 with medium forefoot with narrow heel. Major chicken shins.Shell is a 26.5. Did not need any shell mods - skied them right out of the box. Have Aline footbeds that were fitted. Very neutral position.
The choices I am looking at are the World Cup or Grand Prix. I would not mind giving up a bit of "feel" for a little bit of warmth. That would favor the GP which has, I have read, 10% more goop. Just do not want to spring for the GP's if they are generally a no-go for this shell. By the way, I do seem to have plenty of shell space with my current liners. Not even close to buckling on the loosest notches. That may be because the leather liners are so thin after so long.
