Skibay. There are some on there.

Lampoon,

If you go on to ebay search for [scott ski boots].

Press [advanced search.]

Then scroll down to the [completed listings] box and check it.

Then you will see the last two pair of Super Hots sold recently that Phil mentioned.

They aren't that common. Watch out for cracks in the upper shells at the latch and the side pivots.

I think the lowers on the 2nd design were another type of hard plastic. Not Urethane.

I've often wondered if you could mix and match. From Scott Lites to Scott Hots. I don't see why not.

Also thought if some poor soul was to mold a new upper cuff out of Lexan. How that might hold up better against cracking.

Sorry just the Frankenstein coming out in me again......... Well it IS close to Halloween!

Are they the first or second series lower? I just thought it might make a difference to someone.

The 2nd generation lowers were a RIM injected Urethane. The uppers were Lexan on the 2nd gen. The originals were all ABS which broke easily. I skied them for a few years and never broke them. Shocking!!!

I'm looking to pay about $50 -$100 for  them. I want to use them for a lightweight AT boot.

Old Timer.....

Will you take $75 for those old Scotts?

Hi - They are Mark 2 with the Black injection moulded rim lower clog. I have a few lexan lower clogs that I screwed to the wall and put my drills in - all the Mk I was good for. except if they were hand painted with eggs and bacon!!. Now who remembers those.

Extra - I also have the Olin Mark VI skis from the James Bond film "For your eyes only" the pair that Roger Moore skied on (John Eaves were wrecked).

$75 !! - I've been offered 1500 euros (thats about $2000) so I thought if that was the 1st offer someone out there might want to better it.

Wow!................. I would take that "offer" if I were you. Quick before they are committed to a rubber room. There is one born every minute and it takes three years for them to die.........

I've got a few pairs to to sell this person if not.

It is addictive, plus my wife ecourages me too.

OMG!  Seven pairs of SuperHots, Hexcelerators, TRS's (The Racing Ski)?!  What a 70's ski bum wet dream!  The Ski was a perfect complement for the Scotts: Hot, but fragile.  (Like my first wife.)

Now I understand why this stuff has disappeared.  Seriously, how many pairs of boots does one guy need?  Can you part with a pair or two for a guy whose sweetest turns ever were made on a couple of pairs back in the day, and would like to own and ski 'em again before God yanks my lift pass for good?

There's a nice pair of superhots size 9 1/2 on ebay now

The site doesn't like this type of thing. It is stated in their rules. Your new I know.

Beware of all knocks on the door. The Epic Ski site police will confiscate all your ski equipment and painfully remove your wedding tackle as a penalty.

Also the more you resist the more they seem to like it.

Phil,

What is "Skibay."  Were you referring to Ebay or some other site like eBay that focuses on vintage (and new?) ski equipment?

Thanks,

Cold Warrior

Just referring to Ebay as Skibay.

What size foot do you have

Brad, you canny collector,

Want to sell one or two of your pairs of large-shell, A-upper Superhots?  I thought the uppers were interchangeable, but I was wrong.  (Doh!)  A medium-shell upper won't fit a large lower.

It's either you or, ugh, heavy modern boots.

I seem to remember that there was another company's name other than Scott on the straps you are refering to. PM member Brad Kerr. He would know, could look or might have a scrap pair.

Brad - any chance you might have a couple of the 'straps' that go at the top of the uppers on Scott Super Hott boots?

If so and you are willing to part with - please PM your price....THANKS!
