I recently decided to retire my 7 yr old Lange Comp 100 ski boots. Over the past 2 years my feet have become progressively colder when skiing, and I believe this may be partially due to a combination of packed out liners/old liners and my own aging. I'm 52 yrs old, 5' 8" , 160 lbs and ski approx 20 days per year. Among the above boots, the RS 110s have the closest and most supportive fit. However, they also apply slightly too much pressure on my insteps. The RXs are comfortable , but feel looser in the forefoot than what I'm used to and the right foot heel pocket would need to be snugged up. The Fishers have a fairly supportive fit but are not as comfortable in the tongue area as the Langes are when flexing. My primary questions are:
1.Would the wider (ie 100mm) version of RS have more room in the instep?
2. Is the RX significantly warmer than the RS?
3. Which of the above fit problems is easiest to solve?
4. Opinions on the Fisher 110 performance compared with the Langes?
Thanks in advance for any help, Jim..
