Hello Epicski members. I would like to know any information on the Head Peak 76 2010. I am an intermediate skier and looking for an all around ski that I can use to progress. I found these skis online and it also has good reviews on the expertskier online reviews. I would like to know if anybody has used these skis and are they good for an intermediate skier? Thank you
Like info on 2010 Head Peak 76.
I have the earlier version, Monster im77's, and they are an excellent all round ski. Forgiving enough for an intermediate with a huge sweet spot but more than adequate for advanced all mountain skiing.
I'm assuming the Peak is not too different unless they have softened it up a bit in which case it would be more than suitable for an intermediate.

i didn't find the m77 (mine was with chip, i believe) very forgiving...found it pretty stiff with 2 sheets of metal...IMO they have to be driven aggressively...doesn't mean I didn't enjoy them but 'forgiving' is not how I would describe them...imo they're a pretty stiff ski when you're flexing them in the shovel area....the future versions of that (m78 etc) were in fact said to be actually softer and more forgiving, given reports I'd read from Head.
any others care to 'chip' in? (pun intended)

Could be a size thing. I'm close enough to 220lbs and my Monsters are only 177. I do remember reading somewhere that the later versions were softer. I originally had the chip version before having them replaced with the non-chip version. 2 different skis imo.
