So, I'm looking for a new AT ski (Dukes) to replace my Obsethed, which was way too soft. Looking for at least early rise/rocker in the tip, but not opposed to full rocker. I'd definitely like camber underfoot. So, here's me: 6'6", 210 lbs, racing background, like my skis stiff and responsive. I'm looking to basically fill out the middle of my quiver. I have a WC SL ski for playing around on hardpack and for coaching. I got rid of the middle... And I have a 195 Kuro for ridiculous deeps. I've got a Mantra in mind for the frontside daily driver, either 184 or 191 depending on the AT ski. Heard a lot of good about the Super 7, but I'm concerned about the softer tip flapping at speed. I've heard less about the Girish but like the sound of it. Definitely open to other options too...
Girish vs. Super 7 vs. ??
Agree on the 197 Katana or 195 Line Mothership - you will be pleased you went that way.
Otherwise Wailer 112RP or 196 Lhasa Pow are solid choices BUT "6'6", 210 lbs, racing background" make me think you would love the Katana's/Motherships even more.

Good thought on the Motherships (although they are substantially heavier than the DPS, to the tune of 1kg per ski).
But unless they've changed substantially since the version I flexed, I can't imagine calling the Katana "stiff."
