Here's the deal, I love my Woman's Volkl AC3's, 2006, but they are 149's. Why did I let them convince me that I should ski so short? It was the trend and a stupid one I think. I had been on 170's prior to them; before those, 188's!. BUT...These have been the best skis I have ever owned! Love them!! They are fun for quick turning, I have been able to ski bumps much more with them for sure...and they allow me versatility as a instructor...good sized for teaching adaptive --need to ski backwards a lot and just be real able to react, ya know?... they are also fun to ski on breaks and off days, but this year I am looking for real perfection in a ski cause they definitely chatter a bit too often when i am skiing fast. What's out there this year for someone who likes to teach and ski...without changing out skis?? I teach in Colorado. If i could just find another 2006 AC3 but longer, that would be fine...but none is out there.
thanks for helping.
OK...I will tell you I am young 50's but...I can out ski tons of you younger types I assure you.
