This happens to me.  I have to submit and edit to get it to act normally.  I can see the mouse arrow, but cannot see or change the input point.  It works in edit, just not post new reply.

Yes, I reported this same issue in the FF bug thread over in the other forum.

Me too.  Very annoying.

I get around the problem (which seems to only be in firefox) by using the "Quote" option rather than the "Reply" option. If I don't actually want the quote, then I just delete it, but this method always give me a visible cursor.

Firefox just came out with .12.  SO FAR at least that missing cursor problems seems corrected!

I have an invisible cursor at the moment.  I've updated to FF 3.6.12

Going back in under edit seems to bring it back.  Using quote is a workaround.. just delete the quote you didn't really want to quote.   Just like before, I suspect this is an intermittent problem that comes and goes.

I had the problem in FF. 3.6.11. It was as you said, the cursor disappeared until going to edit, then voila.

We're going to have a new "more basic" editor option for y'all real soon that won't have these compatibility issues with Firefox and IE.

(Personally, I love the CK editor, but I was a big fan of DOS word processors like WordPerfect back in the early days, and I use a Mac.)

Yeah, the problem comes and goes in .12.  I think I had it all the time in .11.  I don't shut down FF, just suddenly I'm in Epic and it's stopped working.

When is the Mark Posts Read button coming back, same time as this new editor?
