BTW, I am wondering if you can order a manual SUV with something like a European delivery program- they build them here, so why not sell one to an american customer- of course finding parts will be a pain the ass, so maybe it is not worth it...
Manufacturers didn't leave you high and dry - your fellow consumers did. If people would buy it, it would be sold. With people not interested in the combination, it's not in the mix.
Guarantee ONLY US configurations will be available for European delivery if coming back in. The certification process for North America is long and arduous, and only certified versions of the car will be available for import. I couldn't even get Mercedes tro talk about a cloth interior for an "E" class. Apparently only if I was in the service and keep for a while in Europe would it be doable.
By the way, while I suspect it's smaller than you want, last weekend I tried a Nissan Juke manual - fun little car and the t/c engine is pretty good.
