You need expensive ski boots to use with your $19,000 skis.

They have some nice jackets also.

Have you priced any other carbon fiber sports foot wear?

In a world where CF skate boots are $600 with no customization whatsoever, in a world where $230 bike shoes have CF only in the soles (and even there 20% by weight or less),  ^that price is perfectly sensible.

If I hadn't seen it, would not believe it.

Thought there would be a link to The Onion.

Ski of the Sheiks?

Too bad they don't have any $1000 poles or $3500 bindings to complete the outfit.   Shame to put some crappy $450 bindings on them.

There might still be a discount for Epicski Supporters.

Well BB:

Just have to grin and bear it.   Otherwise probably have to commit seppuku due to the dishonor .  Man oh man, my first car (a second hand plymouth fury) was all of $600.00.  I can't bear the shame.

Think snow,

Proform?  Maybe you would have choice of  Topsheet, Portion of Base....

Just asked my wife for one of the jackets for Christmas. If you price it high enough someone will buy it. The boots are certainly expensive but not stunningly so. Stuff made with carbon fiber is pricey. I could certainly see applications of carbon fiber in boots, especially racing boots. So the 2-3 fold higher price compared to conventional boots is not that surprising. The $19k skis and $8k-$12k jackets seems a bit excessive.

Yah but they only want $3550 for the whole package.  They do come in a nice case.

"By invitation only", "cryogenically treated edges" and "coriolis core" are suppose to say what exactly?

Who was asking in one of the threads about ultimate gaper equipment? This is the answer... I can only imagine the looks one will get around here opening up this ski coffin from sterling.

Sorry but those are just plain fugly boots.  They would go well with the "invitation only" skis.

what, no one clamoring for indie boots?

I'd love to try those dodge boots, I think they actually might be worth that much cash, those skis look like a massive gimmick though.

Yes, they seem expensive, but that includes the price of the hard plastic lockable ski case.

I'm guessing that Stowe has more skiers on Dodge boots per-capita than any other ski hill in the world. The boots are for real and so are most of the people that ski on them. I think he has 4 sizes now so they will be out there a bit more this year.

No, of course not, you need to have 30 year-old tech Full Tilt ski boots to go on your indie skis.
