Anyone know where to get a good deal on these?  2010 or 2011.

Thanks

Check with SierraJim or Dawgcatching to see if they are carrying them...

We have 174 78's and a pair of 178 94's left.

How would the Watea 84 be as an all mountain ski in the west?

I'm 6'2", 215'ish and more of a cruiser than a bruiser on the slopes.

Thanks, drn92

If you were 160#, it would be a good bet but my own take is that there are better choices than the Watea for your weight. I have carried the Watea 84 for several years but dropped it this year b/c I thought there were better skis available at similar prices.

Check these mini reviews for some ideas.

SierraJim,

Was also looking at  84 Watea's, but could you recommend something else?

61 year old male, 5'1" ,135 lbs,not aggressive, ski Oregon mostly, Alta some.

Thanks

For your light weight and lower aggressiveness, the Watea 84 is not a bad call, especially if softer/off trail conditions are your primary target. The K2 Aftershock and Nordica Firearrow are somewhat stouter than the Watea on firmer groomed snow and share a similar damp smooth ride. The next step up from there would be the Sultan 85 and the Rossi SC 86. Both of those are fairly aggressive skis but are not too stiff in the shorter sizes.
