Deciding between Breckenridge and Keystone Ski School Season Passes for 2010-2011

Hey.  I am looking to get either the Keystone or Breckenridge season lesson package as part of my Colorado Pass for 2010-2011.  I am an adult male intermediate (level 4-5) level skiier.  Last season I skied Eldora and was able to ski all the reasonably well groomed blues and easy blacks by the end of the season.  I definitely have some remedial work to do on form and dealing with choppy terrain.  I live in Boulder and can come up mid-week for the Thursday and Friday lessons and may stay overnight on occasion if I can find a cheap place to stay.  So I'm trying to figure out not only which is the better ski school for my ability but also want to factor in ease of access, parking, etc coming from the Front Range.  I am not that familiar with either resort, so please state the obvious.  The pass is only a good deal if I actually use it.  Any advice of the relative advantages and trade-offs between the two given my situation will be appreciated.

Keystone and Breckenridge both have good ski schools with top-notch coaches on staff.  I am an Alpine Level II instructor and have shadowed lessons at Keystone.  I ski at Keystone more often than Breckenridge because I find it easier to get around the resort and I like skiing the terrain off the Outback lifts.

Parking is free at Keystone if you park at River Run.  Breckenridge offers free parking at Airport Road (north end of town) and you take a shuttle (10-minute ride) to the gondola, which takes you to peak 8.  This lot fills up fast, as you might imagine.  At the Gondola lot, Monday through Thursday the cost is $5.00 and $10.00 on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays.  The lot at Beaver Run will cost $15.00 any day of the week.  The Breckenridge town lots also cost $15.00 any day of the week.

Breckenridge may work better for your situation.

Check out http://www.schussbaumer.org/homepage.php for a cheap place to stay. If you can ski during the week, Schussbaumer is not crowded and you can park for free. The club is on the Breckenridge bus route that will drop you off at either Peak 8 or Peak 9.

PM me with any questions you may have.
