Atomic RT STI 100 vs softened Lange Super Comp WC

Thread Starter

I have Lange Super Comp WC fit (92 last) size 23.5 with the side "u" notch and one bolt removed. I like this boot a lot. It's comfortable and snug. However, there are two drawbacks: must use a hairdryer in order to take them off and the boot is still too stiff for me (5'8", 120 lbs, female) on colder days. So, I'm thinking about another boot that would be super narrow, about 100 flex that I could take off without a hairdryer. I tried on Atomic RT STI 100 and really liked it. Easy to put on and off (in the shop) even with the liner in the shell.

Do you guys know if this boot should be manageable to take off after skiing? Or does the shell become like concrete in the cold?

I'd appreciate your input.

Thanks

like all plastic ski boots, they will also be affected by cold temperatures. This will definitely make them harder to remove after a day of skiing.

The Atomic Sti 100 is softer relative to the Lange that you own. however do not sell or give away your hair dryer, just in case.
