If anyone from BC.com is reading this- your 2011 gear guide is, to put it mildly, a bit problematic.
First of all, it is super-annoying that it is broken into a zillion tiny videos, and every video starts with a generously timed BC.com promotion intro. Seeing that promo one time is enough... really... The ski reviews themselves stink too, the gentleman who gives the review does not say much, except calling a ski "super-ripper" or something like that and saying what kind of sidewall it has. Duh, I can get that from the website, and I'd actually like to know little details such as the ski flex and how it skis. I can see that a big mountain ski is a super-ripper (mane one that is not?), but that tell me squat about the ski. Hint to the BC.com guys- take a look at some of the past SierraJim's video reviews on YouTube for an example on how you can make a short video review somewhat informative. And, last thing- those two guys in period clothes by the fireplace are super-douchy and that segment has a vague feel of amateur porn. A respected (and big) player like BC.com should do better. Sorry.
