Can we get back right click spell checker

The spell checker provided by huddler is a pain in the but to use. Really it is. The right click fuction(and no I am not going to get the right spelling for this) on the mouse, is used for copy and pasting is simple enough using the keyboards. but having to go though an entire post each time to correct a a word is archane(again could care less). I think most would agree that right click spell check is something that was never broke on any site, but on this site they tried to fixed something that was more than good.

I agree with you BWIPA. Huddler has added steps to most essential functions in editing text, but as long as they are getting paid for it, one can hardly blame them.

I think you were looking for the word archaic (antiquated) rather than arcane (obscure or mysterious), but ended up in-between them (I know you don't care). I'm not trying to give you a bad time about it, I'm just an advocate of expanding one's vocabulary, as it leads to a greater capacity to convey and comprehend meaning within discourse.

Sibby is on a PC.  I use Ctrl and right click to get the spell check in FF or in Chrome.

Heh, heh, you said discourse.

One of the basic rules of application development is that you do not undercut the basic UI and functions afforded by the OS & environment. This has been notably extra true on Apple Macs for, oh, about 25 years. I just do not see what is so hard about not making people truly hate your app because it does not play like other apps...

Does this thread have anything to do with whatever it is I keep pushing that suddenly doesn't allow me to type anymore on my post?  Somehow I keep losing my cursor and no amount of right or left clicking will reposition it at the end of my text.  If not, then I have no idea what's going on in this thread.

I have noticed that before. as well.

as well the quote function that like to put you cursor in the quote or above it.

Yeah, I've had the cursor issue too but I found if I just keep typing I can continue on and like BWIPA, often when I use the quote feature I can not move the cursor out of the Quote box. It happened when I quoted v-addict for my comment above. I had to cut and paste to edit the comment all the while pressing the control key. Needless to say, far too much work for such a stupid remark. I'm using windows xp all current updates and firefox 3.15.13

I'm not really complaining. Well, maybe a little. I like having a photo album here. That is a real time saver. I know there are other ways to disable the site editor so I can get the browser function back. I'm just leaving some feedback about some minor quirks.
