I love this website....tons of resources available so thank you to all who post.
Quick question....We're looking to get a pair of Dynastar D'Stinct Plus for my son. He's 14 yrs old, about 125lbs, and 5'5" and growing like a weed. He's been skiing about 4 years and is a solid intermediate, skis in PA and VT and stays in the groomers. He's a fast skier. This would be the first purchase for him, as he's been leasing last several years. He does have his own boots.
We can get the skis for a good price, and they're only a few years old. But we're not sure of correct length....different sources give different suggestions. We're toying with 166, realizing they're a little long at present...but we're hoping he'll have them about 2-3 years and "grow into them". There is a 160 cm available too.
Any suggestions for the best length would be appreciated....160 vs 166. (personally feel the 154 would be best, but the kid seems to be growing an inch a month at this point.)
Thanks again and Happy Trails...
